This feature streamlines the process of crafting a message, selecting recipients, and tracking results, and offers a quick and easy way to send an email to your contact list.
General Functionality of the ‘New Basic Email’ Feature
E-Mailing
- *Email Name : A unique identifier for your campaign (e.g., “Nurse Education Newsletter – June 2024”).
- Campaign: (Optional) Link this Email to a broader marketing campaign for tracking purposes.
- From: Set the sender name and email address (e.g., “The National Nursing Association <[email address removed]>”).
- Recipients: Choose who receives the email. You can use smart groups (based on criteria) or manually select contacts.
- For a Nursing Association: Target specific member groups (e.g., registered nurses, LPNs), geographic locations, or those interested in specific topics (e.g., mental health nursing).
Subject
- Craft a clear and compelling subject line that will entice recipients to open the email (e.g., “Important Update: Continuing Education Requirements”).
Tokens
- Insert dynamic content that personalizes the email for each recipient. Available tokens include first name, last name, membership type, etc.
- Example: “Dear [FirstName] [LastName],” can be personalized for each member.
Save Draft
- Saves your progress in case you need to come back later and finalize the email.

- Moves you to the next step of the Email creation process.
