Add New Email Component

The “Add New Email Component” feature in Email Marketing module of Retention CRM allows Associations, Chambers of Commerce and Non-for-profit organizations to create reusable building blocks for your email campaigns. It’s essentially a template for specific sections of your email that you can easily insert into different Email messages.

General Functionality of “Add New Email Component” Feature

1. Name:* A unique identifier for your component (e.g., “Welcome Message”).

2. Component Type: This defines the content type. Common options include: * HTML: Formatted content with images and styles. * Text: Plain text without formatting. * Header: Prepares the email with sender information, logo, etc. * Footer: Adds contact information, unsubscribe link, etc.

3. Subject:* The email subject line relevant to this component (e.g., “Welcome to the Nursing Association”).

4. Body – HTML Format: Formatted content for the component body (e.g., a welcome message with HTML formatting).

5. Body – TEXT Format: Plain text version of the component body for email clients that don support HTML.

6. Default? Yes/No: If selected, this component will automatically be included in new Email messages.

7. Enabled? Yes/No: Controls whether the component is currently available for use in Emails.

Using “Add New Email Component” Feature in Association Management

Scenario:

The nursing association wants to create a reusable component for their “Welcome New Member” email campaign.

Using the Options:

• Name: Welcome Message – New Member
• Component Type: HTML (For a visually appealing welcome message)
• Subject: Welcome to the [Nursing Association Name]! (Personalized with association name)
• Body – HTML Format: This section would contain a visually formatted welcome message with the association logo, a warm greeting, a brief introduction to the association’s benefits, and a call to action (e.g., explore member resources).
