Survey Types
The ‘Survey Types’ feature in the Campaigns module of Retention CRM allows membership organizations like associations, chambers of commerce, and nonprofits to conduct surveys tailored to their specific needs. These surveys can be used to gather valuable feedback from members, gauge opinions on important issues, and inform decision-making processes.
New Survey Types Associations Can Use
Here are three new survey types an association can create.
- Member Engagement Survey: This survey can assess members’ level of engagement with the association, their preferred communication channels, and their interest in volunteering or attending events.
- Professional Development Needs Survey: This survey can help the association identify the continuing education needs of its members and develop relevant training programs.
- Public Policy Survey: This survey can gather public opinion on issues relevant to the association’s mission and inform its advocacy efforts.
How to Use ‘Survey Types’ in Association Management
Here’s a breakdown of the provided ‘Survey Types’ fields and how a nursing association can utilize them:
Label | Value | Description | Use Case (Nursing Association) |
Survey | 28 | This pre-existing option likely refers to general online surveys. | The association can keep it for gathering online feedback. |
Canvass (face-to-face interview) | 29 | Useful for conducting in-person surveys at events or conferences. | Use it for surveys at conferences to gather feedback on workshops or association initiatives. |
Phone Survey | 30 | Enables conducting surveys over the phone. | Conduct phone surveys to reach out to members who cannot attend events. |
WalkList (door-to-door canvassing) | 31 | Not applicable for most surveys. | This can be disabled for the association. |
Petition Signature | 32 | For collecting petition signatures electronically. | Not applicable for surveys; can be disabled. |
Add a New Survey Type
The ‘Add Survey Type’ option allows further customization. Here’s how a nursing association can fill out the additional fields:
Title: “Member Satisfaction Survey”
Description: “This survey helps us understand your experience with our association and identify areas for improvement.”
Order: Assign a preferred order among existing survey types.
Enabled? Yes (to make the survey type available)
By defining these, the nursing association creates a specific survey type for gathering member feedback, making it easier to conduct and track such surveys within Campaigns Module in Retention CRM.
