Pledge Dashboard
The ‘Pledges’ feature in the Finance Management module of Retention CRM allows Associations, Chambers of Commerce or Nonprofit organizations to manage future commitments to donate. It enables donors (or members) to pledge a specific amount of money to be paid in installments or over a set period. Retention CRM tracks these pledges and can automate reminders for upcoming payments.
The ‘Pledge Dashboard’ feature in the Payments module of Retention CRM provides a quick and easy way to visualize key metrics related to recurring donations (pledges) made to your organizations. It offers a snapshot of your fundraising efforts through pledges, allowing you to track progress and identify areas that might need attention.

Using ‘Pledge Dashboard’ Feature in Association Management
Imagine a nursing association that uses Pledges to manage recurring donations from its members to support educational programs, conferences, or scholarships. Here’s how they can utilize the Pledge Dashboard:
- Track Pledge Performance: The association can monitor the total amount pledged each month and year, allowing them to assess fundraising progress towards specific programs or annual goals.
- Identify Delinquencies: By reviewing the “Past Due” amount and the detailed list of pledge payments, the association can identify members who are behind on their pledges and reach out for assistance or follow-up.
- Analyze Trends: Analyzing pledge data over time can help the association understand member giving patterns and adjust their fundraising strategies accordingly. For example, they might identify a dip in pledges during specific months and plan targeted campaigns to address it.
- Personalize Communication: The “Recent Pledges” section allows the association to acknowledge and thank new donors who have made pledges.
- Improve Efficiency: Having a centralized overview of pledges saves time by eliminating the need to manually generate reports. This allows the association to focus on member engagement and stewardship efforts.
1. Recurring Membership Dues
- Associations can offer members the option to spread out their annual membership dues into smaller, more manageable installments. Using the “Pledges” option, you can record the total annual dues as a pledge and set up automatic reminders for each installment payment. This provides members with payment flexibility and helps ensure timely collection of dues.
2. Fundraising Campaigns with Pledges
- During fundraising campaigns, associations can encourage donors to pledge their support, allowing them to commit to a specific donation amount at a later date. The “Pledges” option tracks these pledges and can automate email reminders before each scheduled payment. This helps associations secure future income and track progress towards fundraising goals.
3. Event Sponsorship Pledges
- When securing sponsorships for events, associations can use the “Pledges” option to record agreements where sponsors pledge a specific sponsorship amount. This allows for tracking sponsorship commitments and sending automated reminders before the sponsorship fee is due.
By effectively utilizing the ‘Pledge Dashboard’ feature, Associations, Chambers and Non-profits can gain valuable insights into their recurring donation program, optimize their fundraising strategy, and ultimately strengthen relationships with their members and donors.
